Royal Rehabilitation Hospital is a private sub-acute hospital, located in Pietermaritzburg, Kwa-Zulu Natal and lies within the vicinity of all the leading hospitals in Pietermaritzburg.

Royal Rehabilitation Hospital was established based on the vision of “bridging the gap” between acute, sub-acute and home care. It is a rehabilitation facility that accommodates for all the needs of patients who don’t essentially need the conventional in-patient treatment at an acute hospital.

Our Hospital provides a more relaxed, almost home-like setting where treatment is done with a combination of professional skills, state of the art equipment and patient centered care and support.

We offer services to assist an individual’s recovery of realistic functional ability, regardless of the severity of the initial injury. Our royal range of therapies includes physiotherapy, occupational and speech therapies, including allied health care of dieticians, social workers, psychologists, rehabilitation nurses; as well as numerous specialty programs.
